How I Pitch My Art to Companies
When it comes to pitching your artwork to companies, there can be a lot of uncertainty. It's also really easy to overthink it and not take any action. So let me break my process down for you in 3 easy steps:
- FIND COMPANIES I start by searching for companies through Google and Instagram that I'd like to work with. I look for the contact info for the art director or the general email for the company.
- WRITE EMAIL I write an email with a brief intro, a sentence about why I'd be a good fit, and attach a few low res images for quick viewing. I like to keep it short and sweet!
- LINK TO DIGITAL PORTFOLIO I include a link to my digital portfolio that I've published online using Publish Online (a feature within the Adobe InDesign program that allows you to publish your document online with its own url or embed it into your website).
That's it! It doesn't need to be any more complicated than that. I hope this helps!
